An achievement is yours for ever once you earn it. A title is not — it is a standing, held only while nobody has done better. Somebody can take yours today.
You can hold as many as you can carry. Most are decided by a count; The Apex goes to whoever holds the single rarest creature in the world, so one extraordinary find beats a hundred good ones. Where two players tie, the one who got there first keeps it.
A title with nobody against it has never been claimed by anyone. Those are the ones worth going after.
